Administration tasks are required to set up projects, new users, and assign permissions in order to collect data with the REFLEX EZ-TRAC™.
An administrator initiates these tasks so a geologist can manage the project, and a field technician or driller can survey data for magnetic north data.
Once the users are set up, a notification email is sent with instructions to set their password.
In summary, the following is required to set up IMDEXHUB-IQ™ for the REFLEX EZ-TRAC™.
Individual user accounts should be set up for every person who needs to access, manage, submit or retrieve REFLEX EZ-TRAC™ data. To set up users, follow the steps in the Add Users section of this user guide.
Users also require access to various functions in IMDEXHUB-IQ™. Assign Permissions provides a list of permissions to modules, and functions within the modules including tool specific functions. An administrator assigns permissions to users based on their requirements.
Administrator
The administrator controls access to IMDEXHUB-IQ™, manages drop- down lists, and projects.
Administrators should have the following modules:
If you are applying permissions to yourself as part of the initial set up you will need to refresh your screen to see the new permissions in the side menu.
Field Technician
A field technician or driller out in the field completes the drillhole survey for gamma data with the REFLEX EZ-TRAC™.
Field Technicians require the following modules in IMDEXHUB-IQ™:
Geologist
A geologist manages the project and its drillholes, including verifying readings and using data in other geological and analytical software packages.
Geologists require the following modules:
To assign module permissions, follow the steps in the Assigning Permissions section of this user guide.
Often the Field Technicians and Geologist roles are performed by the same user. If this is the case, you would grant them access to both modules.
IMDEXHUB-IQ™ contains a number of user-defined lists that allow easy sorting, grouping and reporting.
Lists used by REFLEX EZ-TRAC™ related Modules include:
To create list items, follow the steps in the Adding Items to a List section of this user guide.
Projects need to be created in order to correctly group data and control access to data.
To create Projects, follow the steps in the Adding Projects section of this user guide.
Sharing projects between IMDEXHUB-IQ™ customers allows the easy sharing of REFLEX™ tool data.
To share projects with other IMDEXHUB-IQ™ customers follow the steps in the Sharing Projects section of this user guide.
Users require permission to a project before they can complete tasks and view data associated with that project.
To assign Project Permissions, follow the steps in the Assigning Projects section of this user guide.
Once permissions have been granted to a project, users are able to add Drillholes to a Project, set up Tool data sharing, submit REFLEX EZ-TRAC™ data to IMDEXHUB-IQ™, assign surveys to Drillholes and retrieve data from IMDEXHUB-IQ™.
Once permissions have been granted to a project, users with access to Plan Sharing will be able to set up tool data sharing with other IMDEXHUB-IQ™ customers. This allows surveys submitted by one IMDEXHUB-IQ™ customer to be immediately transferred to another.
To set up tool data sharing, see Plan Sharing Overview.
The REFLEX EZ-TRAC™ synchronises Drillholes from IMDEXHUB-IQ™ to ensure that data flows correctly and can be easily imported into other geological software packages. In order for the Drillhole to show up on the REFLEX EZ-TRAC™ app it must be active in IMDEXHUB-IQ™. See the Plan Drillholes section of this user guide to see how to manage Drillholes.
If the Drillhole does not display in IMDEXHUB-IQ™, a Drillhole can be manually created on the REFLEX EZ-TRAC™ app which will queue into the Assign Survey module.
